St Ro match predictions

Predictions for the club’s matches and registrations for its events, with online payment verified on the server side.

In productionPrivate source code

  • Vue 3
  • Vite
  • Node.js
  • SQLite
  • OpenID Connect
  • HelloAsso
  • Docker

Context

Supporters predict the AS Saint-Rogatien Nantes matches and sign up for the events that go with them, such as the raffle. You take part without an account, and you pay online (HelloAsso) or on site. Administrators, signed in with Google, follow participation, enter results, run the draws and export everything to Excel.

The story: leaving Firebase

The app was born in March 2026 on Vue, Firebase (database, authentication, storage) and Vercel. On 3 October 2026, I rewrote it as a single Node service with a SQLite database, hosted on the club’s server.

  • A payment verified by the server with HelloAsso.
  • A replayable migration: Firestore documents are carried over as-is in JSON, and the import is checked and can be replayed identically.
  • Team logos stored in the database, so they’re backed up with it.
  • Participants’ data kept for 12 months, with a privacy page that a test checks against the code.
  • 98 tests: payment, access rights, Google sign-in, migration.

// For my 2026 projects, I work with AI agents (Claude Code): I frame the need, write the specification, then review and validate the code.
